Marken Rips Jersey City for 5 Hits Monday, May 6th, 2030 ParksNRec center fielder Ryan Marken had his way with Jersey City pitching today at Jersey City Grounds and mauled them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His efforts were all in vain, though, as the Tritons ruined his great day by toppling the ParksNRec, 17-9. "I had a great day, but you've got to give Jersey City credit, they did what they had to do to win," he told reporters after the game. "They weren't very impressed with my 5 hits." "Oh, we noticed what Marken did today," Tritons skipper Pierre Muller said. "He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him." Ryan Marken singled in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, hit a two-run single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and doubled in the 9th.
