Season Ends for Xavier Hernández of Las Vegas Wednesday, September 4th, 2030 The season is ending on a bad note for Xavier Hernández, second baseman for the Las Vegas Flamingos. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Hernández was hurt against the Kingston Township Legion while colliding with a player at a base. He suffered chronic back soreness and will be out for at least 3 weeks. In 92 games Hernández is hitting .280 this season with 84 hits, 10 home runs, 39 RBIs, 73 walks, .425 OBP and has scored 52 runs. |
