The 29-year-old second baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Menard's Third League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .600 average (9-for-15) with 1 home run, 3 RBIs and 2 runs scored. This season García is swinging the bat at a .229 rate with 76 hits in 332 at-bats.
