Evergreens, Eisenhauer Blank Athletic Club KC
Monday, September 16th, 2030
George Eisenhauer hurled a fine game for the Portland Evergreens at Athletics Park today, holding the Athletic Club KC to 5 hits in a shutout win.
"When he started out, his command wasn't that good, but he's a tough guy," Portland manager Imran Baig said. "The more pitches he throws, the better his command is."
The left-hander had 5 strikeouts and no walks in the 4-0 victory.
"An outstanding job," Athletic Club KC manager Andy Mayfield said. "We couldn't get anything going. Every time we got a hit, he got out of the jam. He pitched a terrific game."
To date this year, Eisenhauer shows a 9-3 record, 20 starts, 133.2 innings, 101 strikeouts and a 3.37 ERA.
