Hammond No Match for Levasier Monday, August 19th, 2030 Shalom Levasier of the South Beach Blaze humiliated the Hammond Herons at The Ballpark on the Beach today, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 4 hits. "He's got a bunch of different arm angles and his ball was really moving," said Hammond manager Davis Burt, after the game. Levasier whiffed 14 and walked 1 in the 3-0 win. "If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Levasier said. "I was making good pitches the entire game." So far this year Levasier has made 11 starts, tossed 70.2 innings, struck out 72 batters and walked 29. His record is 5-2 with a 1.78 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .215 batting average.
