Francisco Medrano Out for Season Sunday, July 28th, 2030 A blow for Francisco Medrano today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 12 months with a torn ulnar collateral ligament. Medrano suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Gwinnett County Black Cats are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Medrano's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. To this point in the season, Medrano shows a 4-2 record, 9 starts, 64.2 innings, 53 strikeouts and a 3.06 ERA. |
