McDaniell on Fire, Strikes out 17 U-21 Friday, August 2nd, 2030 Ollie McDaniell of the Hogsmeade Cauldrons put on a pitching clinic today at ACKC Youth Field as he struck out 17 Athletic Club KC U-21 in a 6-1 victory. McDaniell, who is tied for 3rd in the SA in wins with 10, was simply magnificent as he held the U-21 to 2 hits. He walked 1. "I felt okay at the beginning," McDaniell said, "but eventually my change up really started working. I also have to thank my catcher for calling a great game." When asked about McDaniell's performance, Cauldrons manager Jamie Randall shook his head and said, "Yeah, he was pretty good out there today. He was dominating." To this point in the season, McDaniell shows a 10-2 record, 16 starts, 116 innings, 155 strikeouts and a 1.86 ERA. View Boxscore View Game Log |
