Season Over for James Davis in Galesburg Tuesday, July 9th, 2030 James Davis has to call it a season. The Galesburg Guzzlers starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Mt. Vernon Bulls and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Davis was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a fractured elbow and stated that he would not be able to play for 5 months. Davis has a 0-2 season record so far. In 2 starts, he has fanned 36 batters in 32.2 innings with a 4.13 ERA. |
