Petty Rips Put-In-Bay for 5 Hits Thursday, September 5th, 2030 Dragoons right fielder Connor Petty had his way with Put-In-Bay pitching today at Dragoons War Memorial Stadium and mauled them for 5 hits in 8 at-bats. His efforts were all in vain, though, as the BC ruined his great day by toppling the Dragoons, 14-12. "I had a great day, but you've got to give Put-In-Bay credit, they did what they had to do to win," he told reporters after the game. "They weren't very impressed with my 5 hits." "Oh, we noticed what Petty did today," BC skipper Tim Wilson said. "He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him." Connor Petty doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 9th, struck out in the 10th, flied out in the 13th and hit an RBI double in the 14th.
