July's #1 Hurler Announced: Roche Thursday, August 1st, 2030 In July, Nicolas Roche tore through the M3L Single A like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 22 years old. The young Provo starter posted a 5-1 mark and an ERA of 1.64 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 49.1 innings he collected 58 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .197 average. This season Roche has gone 13-3 with an ERA of 1.81, posting 142 strikeouts in 119.1 innings. |
