Rubén Elejarde Out for Season Thursday, July 25th, 2030 A blow for Rubén Elejarde today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 12 months with a torn ulnar collateral ligament. Elejarde suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Grand Forks Caterpillars are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Elejarde's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. So far this year Elejarde has made 2 starts, tossed 30 innings, struck out 23 batters and walked 6. His record is 3-3 with a 6.00 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .336 batting average. |
