Dutchmen Bang Out 6-2 Win Versus Thunder Bay
New Amsterdam Dutchmen starter Walt Coffman kept the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 6-2 win. New Amsterdam is now 36-52.

The Dutchmen got a big at-bat from third baseman Mario Rivera. For the game, Rivera was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave New Amsterdam a 2-0 lead.

"I thought we played a nice game," Rivera told the New Amsterdam Daily News. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
