Express Win in Glorious Fashion
|
Wizarding left-hander Javier Roldán helped his team edge Portland by the score of 3-2. Roldán kept the opposing lineup in check. The Express, at 47-32, have now won 4 straight.
Wizarding won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With one out and Fernando Ramírez on the mound for Portland, center fielder Ralph Cranford hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Express fans to their feet.
"It was terrific getting this win," Cranford said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
