Portland Hot Streak Continues with 7-4 Win
|
Ft. Worth right fielder Rick Mayfield had a good game, even if his team did not. The Cattlemen dropped a 7-4 decision to Portland at Evergreen Park. Mayfield was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Jorge Otero earned the win for Portland. He lasted 5.2 innings, allowing 2 earned runs on 5 hits, while striking out 8. With the win, he raised his record to 5-2. The winning continues for Portland, with the latest making it 9 straight.
