Cattlemen Stymie New Amsterdam, Take 4-0 Win
|
The Ft. Worth Cattlemen picked up a win at The Cattle Pen, knocking off the New Amsterdam Dutchmen, 4-0. Starting pitcher Robbie Betchley was an essential part of his team's success. Ft. Worth is now 32-20, New Amsterdam 24-28.
With a runner on 1st and two out in the bottom of the sixth inning, first baseman Marcos Roa delivered big for the Cattlemen. Ft. Worth was leading 2-0 when he belted a 2-run home run.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Roa said.
