With designated hitter Cristo González leading the charge, the Grafton Middies defeated the Wizarding Express, 7-5, at Platform 9 3/4. González, who is on pace to hit 22 home runs this season, was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. António Muńóz picked up the win, improving his season record to 5-3. He struck out 6 in 7 innings. The Middies now have a mark of 27-18.

Had Leonard O'Connor not delivered a key base hit in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, O'Connor hit a run-scoring double. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Middies.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," González told the Grafton Herald.
