Express Get One-Run Win at Ft. Worth
|
The Wizarding Express topped the Ft. Worth Cattlemen, 5-4, in United States Silver League action at The Cattle Pen. The player of the game was Wizarding pitcher and Valencia, Venezuela native Eduardo Molina. Molina, now 4-2, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 4, walking 2, and allowing 1 earned run. Eijiro Takahashi picked up the save for Wizarding, his 4th of the year.
In the top of the second, Salvador Trevino hit a 2-run home run for Wizarding. The 13th home run of the season for the Wizarding designated hitter put the Express on top, 2-0.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Trevino.
Wizarding is now 22-19. Ft. Worth is 25-16.
