Closing In: Las Vegas Nears R2032 With Dramatic Game Win
The Las Vegas Flamingos needed some last-minute heroics to do it, but ultimately emerged one game away from the Round 2032 today. The Flamingos got the 4-3 win against the Buckhead Bowties in a walk-off at The Strip. Las Vegas right-hander Toddster Gordo was named player of the game after a solid outing in which he threw 6 innings allowing 3 runs. The win gives the Flamingos a - advantage in the best-of- Round 2031.

José Alonso was the walk-off hero for Las Vegas. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Flamingos left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Alonso said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
