Art Adams knew he couldn't win the series for the Las Vegas Flamingos. Down -0, it would take a lot more than one start. The best he could do, he figured, was prevent a sweep and give the The Strip faithful a good time. Check and check.

The Las Vegas right-hander threw a complete game shutout against the red-hot Buckhead Bowties to get the Flamingos on the board in the series, striking out 4 along the way. The Flamingos will be looking to keep the momentum the next time the teams meet. With the 1-0 win, Las Vegas now trails - in the best-of- series.
