Great Lakers Even With Fog After Home Win
The Pure Michigan Great Lakers knotted up the 3L AAA Championship at Lansing Park today, thanks in large part to starter Kyuichi Hori. Hori quieted the Sunset District Fog, enabling Pure Michigan to grab the 9-0 win and move into a 1-1 tie in the best-of-5 series.

Pure Michigan took the lead with two out in the bottom of the first when Bartolo Benítez stroked a 2-run home run. That made the score 2-0 in favor of Pure Michigan. For the day, Benítez was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"We came out aggressive," said Great Lakers manager Mark Everhart. "We came out swinging the bats."

Game 3 is set to be played Tuesday, September 24th, 2030 at Fog Park in San Francisco. The scheduled starters for the game are Kazu Shimada for the Pure Michigan Great Lakers and Miguel Cabañas for the the Sunset District Fog.
