In a remarkable effort, Enrique Castro single-handedly kept the Toledo Stingers in the playoffs.

The Toledo Stingers right-hander threw a complete game shutout on the road to prevent a Buckhead Bowties sweep, striking out 3 along the way. The Stingers needed all he had, as their own offense struggled to get into gear. The 2-0 Toledo win means the club now trails - in the best-of- series.

The Bowties had trouble solving Castro, who surrendered no earned runs on 5 hits over 9 innings.

"Some of the guys in here work pretty hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Castro told the Toledo Times.
