The Wizarding Express moved to within one game of the Round 2 today, downing the Chicago Gold Sox on the road at Gold Sox Field by a score of 5-4. Express right-hander Ralph McKinney was named player of the game after a strong outing in which he threw 5 innings allowing 4 runs. The win gives the Express a - advantage in the best-of- Silver League Championship.

Had Jeff Green not delivered a key base hit in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Green hit a 2-run single. That made the score 5-4, in favor of the Express.

"I felt good up there," said Green. "I saw the ball well."
