The Wizarding Express did just enough to sneak past the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC, 4-3, at Platform 9 3/4. Wizarding pitcher Eduardo Molina earned player of the game honors. Wizarding reliever Eijiro Takahashi was the winner. His record is now 2-2. Woody Hudson took the loss. Wizarding is now 15-13, while Thunder Bay is 11-17.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Wizarding left fielder Nathan Tanner, facing Woody Hudson, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Express the 4-3 win.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Molina told the Wizarding Times.
