Grafton Middies left fielder Phil MacNamara was the difference-maker at Field of the Middies today, winning player of the game honors as he led his club to victory in a pivotal Game of the Silver League Championship. The Middies took the 4-3 win over the Montana Pandas to seize a - lead in the best-of- series.

Dave Ash in the bottom of the ninth had a productive at-bat. With a runner on 1st and the Middies leading 4-3, the Grafton pinch hitter hit a double.

"Winning is contagious," said Ash. "We're looking forward to the next game."
