Almost There: Brooklyn On Cusp of R1 Triumph After 9-1 Win
The Brooklyn Dodgers moved to within one game of the Round 2 today, downing the Detroit Renaissance on the road at Detroit Field by a score of 9-1. Dodgers shortstop Vincent Crane was named player of the game after he went 4-4 with 4 doubles. He scored 4 runs. The win gives the Dodgers a - advantage in the best-of- Round 1.

Brent Ryan helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a 3-run home run to give Brooklyn a 3-0 lead.
