The Chicago Tula and Yellowknife Dragonblood played an exciting game at Ramblers Ballpark.
The Chicago Tula stymied the Yellowknife Dragonblood, 4-2, at Ramblers Ballpark. Lynwood Dimartínez, who had a good day at the plate, was named player of the game. He went 2-3 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for Chicago. Chicago reliever Bu-wei Law picked up the win, upping his record to 3-3. Shusaku Kobayashi was saddled with the loss. Cedric Zuercher earned the save, his 18th.
Dimartínez had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 2-1 curveball from Erik Illescas, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Tula a 4-1 lead. It was the 5th home run of the year for Dimartínez.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Dimartínez said after the game.
Chicago is now 43-53, Yellowknife 51-45.
