Rodríguez Now 1-3 After Subduing Lakers
|
The Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC picked up a win at Rangers Stadium, knocking off the Echo Park Lakers, 4-1. Starting pitcher Rafael Rodríguez played a key role in the triumph. Thunder Bay is now 9-13. Echo Park is 8-14.
Rodríguez pitched a complete game for Thunder Bay. The right-hander, who calls Panama, Panama his home, racked up 9 Ks, while allowing just 3 hits. Lakers hitters could not touch his fastball -- nor any other pitch, for that matter.
"I had pretty much everything working," said Rodríguez.
