Victory Over Hotspur U-21 Takes South Beach to 54-20
|
It was a fun time at The Ballpark on the Beach, where the Phoenix Hotspur U-21 and South Beach Blaze tangled.
South Beach Blaze starter Darren Minich turned in a top-notch performance against the Phoenix Hotspur U-21 at The Ballpark on the Beach. The result was a win for the Blaze, 7-1. Minich got the win, improving to 6-2. He allowed 7 hits and walked 2 over 8.2 innings. Minich allowed 1 earned run.
Serious Lee put South Beach in front, 2-1, when he hit a 2-run home run off Jason MacDonald in the bottom of the first. It was his 7th home run of the season.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Lee told reporters after the game.
The Blaze bumped their record to 54-20 with this latest triumph.
