Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Barry Chambers, the South Beach Blaze defeated the Chicago Tula, 5-3. Chambers went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs for the Blaze. Shalom Levasier got the win, improving to 3-2. He worked 7 innings, giving up 3 runs on 9 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 1. The Blaze have now won 7 straight.

Serious Lee chipped in for South Beach, stroking a crucial run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning. For the game, the center fielder went 2 for 5 with 2 singles.
