Minich Throws 5-Hitter En Route to 3-1 Blaze Win
Darren Minich never let the Walleye get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his slider, to pitch the Blaze to a 3-1 win. The Blaze have an impressive 43-19 record.

Minich was in the zone all game. He frustrated Walla Walla hitters while giving the Blaze 9 innings of quality work. Minich threw 126 pitches, allowing 5 hits and getting 7 punchouts.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Minich told reporters after the game.
