Despite a fine performance by center fielder Quentin Harrop, the Gwinnett County Black Cats suffered a 7-5 loss to the Chicago Tula. Harrop went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Chicago, at 26-24, sits in 6th place in the Premier A.
Bartholomew Bailey helped out the Chicago cause in the top of the fifth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the second baseman went 1 for 3 with a hit by pitch.
Bailey told a Chicago Herald reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
