Victory Pushes Blaze Record to 9-4
|
The South Beach Blaze got a strong performance from pitcher Zion DeBose, who stymied the Walla Walla offense en route to a 7-1 win at The Ballpark on the Beach. The Blaze keep rolling, raising their record to 9-4.
Early in the game, catcher Sepulveda Zambrano had a 2-run home run for South Beach. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Blaze on top, 2-0.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Zambrano told reporters after the game.
