Spirited fans at Washington Park greeted the Washington Generals for their clash with the Hammond Herons.

The Hammond Herons picked up a win at Washington Park, knocking off the Washington Generals, 4-1. Starting pitcher Tomás Huesca, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. The win leaves Hammond with a record of 4-4.

Félix Castellanos helped out the Hammond cause in the top of the eighth inning with a 2-run double. For the game, the left fielder went 1-4 with a double, while adding 3 RBI.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Castellanos told the Hammond Observer.
