Reapers Roll to 8-2 Win Over Expos
|
The Grim Reapers got a strong performance from pitcher António Fernández, who stymied the Niagara Falls offense en route to a 8-2 win at Waterfall Park. The winning pitcher was Fernández, now 7-8. He tossed 6.1 innings of 2-hit ball, while walking 0 and fanning 6. Grim now has a 3-game win streak.
Mason Congdon aided the Grim cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh. For the game, the pinch hitter was 1-1.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Fernández said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
