Expos Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Chiefs
Connetquot center fielder Heherson Inaris had a good game, even if his team did not. The Chiefs dropped a 8-5 decision to Niagara Falls at The Big Teepee. Inaris was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Niagara Falls reliever Pat Clement picked up the win to move to 4-2. Orynn Veillon suffered the loss. The slumping Chiefs have lost 7 straight.

A critical at-bat came in the top of the ninth inning when the Expos sent 20-year-old shortstop Sergio Torres to the plate with the bases loaded. The youngster shook off the pressure and reached on an error by the SS, driving in 1 run, to put Niagara Falls on top, 7-5.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Torres.
