Bellevue right-hander Jeff Porter made an effective start against the Connetquot Chiefs at Bellevue Field, leading his team to a 2-1 win. Porter, the winner, moves to 6-5. He threw 6.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 9 and giving up 3 walks. Paco Salazar earned the save for Bellevue, his 29th of the year.
