Daron Muldoon of the Niagara Falls Expos spun his magic on the Syracuse Storm today. He blanked them 7-0 on 5 hits, registering 11 strikeouts and 3 walks.

"The bottom line was I just kept the ball down," Muldoon said. "My breaking stuff was down. Everything was down."

Talking to reporters in the postgame interview, Niagara Falls skipper Dave Ross said the team "got solid pitching, good defense and took great team at-bats in a lot of different situations."

"Daron pitched really well but this was a solid performance by everyone," he said.

So far this year Muldoon has made 8 starts, tossed 54.1 innings, struck out 60 batters and walked 24. His record is 1-2 with a 3.98 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .283 batting average.
