Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Grim Reapers got the win.
Grim right-hander Andy Fallon pitched his team to victory over the Niagara Falls Expos at Waterfall Park. The final score was 4-2. Arturo Durán got the save, the 11th for him this season.
In the top of the second, Brandon Palmer hit a 2-run single for Grim. The 9th hit of the season for the Grim center fielder put the Reapers on top, 2-1.
"Baseball is about momentum," said Palmer, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
Grim is now 16-19.
