Guzzlers Come Up Short at Grim
The Grim Reapers did just enough to secure a 4-3 victory over the Galesburg Guzzlers at The Coffin. Nobody did more than pitcher Valentyn Hochmiller, who captured player of the game honors. Arturo Durán closed the game out for Grim, earning his 8th save. The Guzzlers, now 13-12, have lost 4 in a row.

Harlan Thompson aided the Grim cause with a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the center fielder drove in one run.

"It feels good to get that win," said Thompson. "Now it's on to the next one."
