Starting pitcher Charles Wells pitched well enough to help the Delaware 1787 BC beat the Niagara Falls Expos by the score of 8-3. The win brings the 1787 BC to 7-4, a promising start as the team looks to return to the playoffs.
Bryce Abood, who is tied for 2nd in the SA in bases on balls with 10, helped out the Delaware cause in the top of the sixth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the first baseman was 1-4 with a walk.
"I really like what we did out there today," Abood said after the game.
