The Syracuse Storm got a superb performance from right fielder Tsuginori Kobayashi, but the Delaware 1787 BC still won the game, 7-4. Kobayashi was named the player of the game despite the loss. He was 3-4 with 2 doubles and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. NaNomi Lojore was the winner. Over 6 innings, he allowed 2 runs on 7 hits, with 3 walks and 4 strikeouts. Francisco López earned the save for Delaware, his 3rd of the year.
The 1787 BC got a big at-bat from shortstop Hai-feng Tang. For the game, Tang was 2 for 5 with a triple. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run triple. His 1st triple of the season gave Delaware a 4-2 lead.
