Kennesaw pitcher Rikkarti Gudmundur did his part in helping his team beat the Myrtle Beach Seahawks, 4-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Kennesaw reliever Jules Goux picked up the win, upping his record to 4-0. Garrett Schaper was saddled with the loss. The Seahawks, now 20-37, have lost 4 straight.
Andy Holder was the walk-off hero for Kennesaw. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Jets second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"Put this one in the bank," said Holder afterward.
