Hotspur Solve Dodgers, 6-4
|
The Phoenix Hotspur stopped the Brooklyn Dodgers, 6-4, at Chase Field. The Hotspur got a big game from Alex Niemann, who went 2-3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The Dodgers, at 57-49, have lost 5 in a row.
Randy Rehling drove in one run for Phoenix. The 28-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Jesús Acosta. It was his 37th RBI of the season.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Rehling.
