Raúl Medina pitched well, but the Mancelona Torch still lost the game, falling 3-2 to the Grand Forks Caterpillars at The Cocoon. Roberto Roque, credited with the win, is now 2-1. He allowed no runs on 3 hits in 4.1 innings. Grand Forks is 18-22 and Mancelona, with the loss, 22-18.
In the bottom of the first, Mo-ruo Teoh hit a 3-run home run for Grand Forks. The 1st home run of the season for the Grand Forks right fielder put the Caterpillars on top, 3-1.
