Hawks Take Tight Tilt
Both teams had their chances, but the Highwood Hawks eventually prevailed at Alameda Field.

Highwood Hawks starter Wu-shiun Lao turned in a sterling performance against the Alameda Airmen, leading his team to a slim 3-2 win. Urs Ehles closed the door for Highwood, picking up his 4th save of the year.

In the top of the eighth inning, right fielder Rafael Rivera came through big-time for the Hawks. With Highwood leading 2-1, he belted a solo home run.

"I was a little disappointed," said Alameda manager John Muńóz. "We could've and should've scored more runs."

Highwood has now won 4 games in a row.
