Victory Pushes Torch Record to 15-12
|
The Mancelona Torch faced a tough opponent in Kennesaw pitcher Wei Shan, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Jets Stadium by a final score of 2-1. Shan went 8 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Mancelona starter Pu-feng Zhou was credited with the win after throwing 92 pitches over 6 innings. His record now stands at 5-3. The Jets, at 12-15, have lost 4 in a row.
