Late Rally by Rails Secures Win
Richland first baseman Armando Rodríguez made his presence felt in the 6-4 Rails triumph over the Chesapeake Continentals. Rodríguez was 3-4 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Richland, at 41-61, sits in last place in the Premier AA.

Rodríguez had a game-changing single in the top of the eighth. On a 2-0 fastball from Jason Martin, he banged a run-scoring single to left, giving the Rails a 4-3 lead. It was the 12th hit of the year for Rodríguez.

Rodríguez told the Richland Today: "I don't know which I enjoy more -- being a ballplayer or the perks that come with being a ballplayer."
