Thundercats Drop Another One
|
It was a good time at Gold Sox Field, where fans came to watch the Richardson City Thundercats and Chicago Gold Sox get after it.
The Chicago Gold Sox got a stellar effort from pitcher Shuntavyious Primes-Willes, helping Chicago score a 4-2 win over the visiting Richardson City Thundercats. The winning pitcher was Primes-Willes, now 5-11. He tossed 7.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 3. Esteban Jiménez picked up the save, his 1st.
Early in the game, shortstop Hirohisa Ogasawara had a 2-run single for Chicago. It was his 19th hit of the season and put the Gold Sox on top, 2-0.
"I really like what we did out there today," Ogasawara said after the game.
The 9th-place Thundercats have lost 5 straight games.
