The Northville Eclipse topped the Chesapeake Continentals, 5-2, in USPL Double A action at Chesapeake Grounds. The player of the game was Northville pitcher Ricardo Fraga. Fraga got the win, improving to 7-4. He allowed 7 hits and walked 3 over 8 innings. Fraga allowed 2 earned runs. Javier Luna notched his 16th save in 19 chances.

Octávio Ontiveros had a big run-scoring double for the Eclipse in the top of the second inning. With Northville leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from Juan Valdéz and stroked the double to center. It was his 10th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Eclipse ahead, 2-0.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Fraga.

Northville, at 49-37, sits in second place in the Premier AA.
