Rails Shut Out Loons
The Richland Rails faced a tough opponent in Minnesota pitcher Andrew Moody, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Rails Ballpark by a final score of 1-0. Moody went 8 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Richland starter Chico Landi was credited with the win after throwing 90 pitches over 6.1 innings. His record now stands at 8-2. Richland currently is in 9th place in the Premier AA at 35-47.

Alexandre Keeping, who is rated as the 50th best prospect by BNN, aided the Richland cause with a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the first. For the game, the shortstop drove in one run.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Keeping said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
